Our Services

Whether your vision needs are just a complete exam, laser refractive surgery, or anything in between, we promise to provide you with exceptional care as we work to maintain or enhance your vision.  Below are just some of the many procedures and services we regularly provide to our patients – with a gentle touch, and stunning results.  Your vision is our first priority!

Advanced Technology Intraocular lenses

After the natural lens of the eye is removed during cataract surgery, a new artificial intraocular lens (IOL) is implanted. IOL technology has made great advancements to give patients many options when having cataract surgery, frequently reducing the need for glasses or contact lenses. How often glasses are needed after cataract surgery will depend on the type of IOL implanted. We can help you choose the right type of lens implant to match your goals and lifestyle.

Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery

A camera/ultrasound device is placed over your eye to map its surface.  It also gathers information about your lens. The device sends the results to a computer that programs the laser. This tells the laser the exact location, size, and depth for incisions. The surgeon uses the laser to make the corneal incision and the opening in the capsule. They may also use energy from the laser to soften the cataract. An ultrasound probe breaks the lens into pieces and suctions them out. The surgeon then puts the IOL in the eye. Again, the incision usually does not need stitches.

Laser Vision Correction

Laser vision correction is an alternative to eyeglasses and contact lenses that can help you see more, naturally. The concept behind laser vision correction is simple—reshaping the front of the eye to change its focusing power. These elegant procedures are safe and effective with the right patient. They are anything but trivial though, and require a great deal of careful consideration and personalization.
